3D Face Reconstruction from Binocular Stereo Images

Faces are reconstructed from stereo images. Depth information is deployed to make the recognition pose and illumination invariant. Stereo correspondences are resolved from laser scan and refined with energy minimizing snake algorithm that runs on top of a deformable grid.

Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) Stereoscopy for 3D Reconstruction of Nano-Scale objects

The goal of this project is to reconstruct nano-scale objects in 3D for enhanced visualization. SEM stereoscopy will enable us to reconstruct  objects such as Electro-Mechanical devices and study wear and tear on them.
